Hong Kong and Macau residents can apply for entry permits to Taiwan through two methods: online application or on-arrival visa.
After the online application for an entry permit is approved, Hong Kong and Macau residents need to print and sign the "Consent Form for Hong Kong and Macau Residents Applying for Entry Permit to Taiwan via the Internet and Immigration Registration." Upon entry, they must bring their valid Hong Kong or Macau SAR passport, original ID card, round-trip ticket, and the signed consent form. This allows them to enter and exit Taiwan once within the valid period, with a maximum stay of 30 days.
