【An An Yonghua】 Low AMH, Blocked Fallopian Tubes: 33-Year-Old Mom Welcomes Baby Through IVF, Immune Therapy
In the third year of our marriage, I discovered my AMH level was below 1, and my fallopian tubes were blocked. I first underwent laparoscopic surgery to clear my fallopian tubes, hoping to increase my chances of natural conception. However, even after this, the good news we were waiting for didn't come. At that time, I still couldn't believe I was facing infertility.
After the first embryo transfer failed to implant, I took a long break. I made a promise to myself: if the next transfer didn't bring good news, I would accept that maybe having a baby wasn't meant to be. It took me a long time to gather the courage to start another IVF cycle.
Fortunately, we finally found the cause! My immune system was overactive, but thankfully, this could be controlled with medication. After having uterine polyps removed, I mustered the courage to undergo another embryo transfer. After a six-year wait, at the age of 33, I finally welcomed my precious baby.
My husband and I had imagined many times how we would react to success or failure. The moment we saw those two lines indicating pregnancy in the doctor's office and clearly heard our baby's strong heartbeat, I felt a joy that I still can't forget to this day.
I'm grateful to Dr. Wu from AN-AN IVF Clinic for continuously giving me confidence and positive energy. I also want to thank the embryologists and nursing team at AN-AN Yonghua for their companionship, ensuring I wasn't alone during this challenging journey to parenthood.
Lastly, I want to tell everyone: Trust your doctor, trust yourself. Although the process is difficult, you need to adjust your mindset and face each outcome calmly. I know there's a lot of pressure to bear, but it's crucial to stay relaxed. Believe that in the end, you can achieve a positive result.
